Description
This production is designed as a training video for firefighters, but the information provided can also be valuable for homeowners in a wildland environment. The footage follows the Calabasas Fire in the Santa Monica mountains and the Marple Fire in the Interstate 5 corridor in 1996. The narration is provided by Los Angeles County Fire Department Battalion Chief J.P. Harris, well known nationwide for his knowledge in wildland firefighting and firefighter safety.
