The Saddle Ridge fire started at 2102 hours on October 10th 2019.  The fire located in the highly populated foothills at the north end of the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, CA burned 8,391 acres, destroyed 19 structures, damaging 88 others, with one fatality and eight injuries. This was a Santa Ana wind driven event with primary damage done in the first 24 hours.

The LAFD major emergency structure fire in September 2019 resulted in the response of over 30 fire companies to the fully involved 100×150 commercial building located in the warehouse district east of downtown Los Angeles.
